Some fannish things.

What do you think is the point of selling books on the Amazon marketplace for £0.01? Is it the £2.75 postage and packing? Or are they trying to clear space? Anyhow, I've ordered the first several Stargate books, because £2.76 is still very cheap. I've enjoyed all those I've read so far (A Matter Of Honor, The Cost Of Honor, Roswell, and especially ( Read more... )

I like dracothelizard's theory that Jack is actually hungover all through "The Tok'ra Part 1".

This would explain not only the hair but why he is very confused and has to have "The Tok'ra are like the Goa'uld, only good!" explained to him repeatedly every time the PTB decide that the audience might need more exposition.

It's a good theory! I like it. I think it could probably be applied to a few other episodes, too, to make them make a lot more sense.

The question is, why isn't Stargate on that list? Every other related Sci-Fi show is on there!! And really, Deep Space 9, a StarTrek spinoff was quite boring in comparison to StarGate... :( Though at least both of Joss Whedon's shows were on there.

Meh. Stargate isn't appreciated as it should be. :)

I'm very dubious about a lot of their choices, I must say. I'm not sure how they chose it.

41. Band of Brothers (I will watch it soon, Abyssis!)

GOOD! YOU SHOULD!

Though, interesting that it's a 10-part miniseries and is included here as a tv show. hmmmm

That list is a bit odd, somehow.

Yay tousled Jack!

I will! I will! ;)

Well, it was a show, it was on TV... A lot of British shows are only six or so episodes, so I guess it doesn't stand out as unusual to me. The list was voted for by the public, so maybe hence the oddness. It does read to me like a list of popular UK shows.

*tousles Jack some more*

The appeal of Lost is that there are lots of pretty people running around an island with mysterious pasts!

:) Okay, fair enough. But still, meh. It's never appealed to me.

That is perfectly understandable. Not every show pings every person.
