All right, so we all know whose birthday it is today, right? ;-) In honor of his 30th birthday, I thought everyone can post their favorite Tom Welling acting moment, picture, quote, interviews, etc... Just as long as it's praising him. Okay?

Strangely enough, I watched most of Vengeance last night. It kills me, KILLS me that he didn't get more praise for being nothing short of brilliant in that episode. Every single note he hits is pitch perfect. The one his voice breaks on "you should wear it" *dies* The crying at the end? Me=weeping mess.

I think my favorite interview with Tom is one he did in S5 with the Smallville magazine. He had all these amazing observations about the other characters on the show, and I loved the fact that he really does take an interest in every character, every actor. Its not all about him, him, him, or just Clark. I totally understand why he's a good director. And best of all? He doesn't blame any character for what Clark does.

I'm not sure I have a favorite quote.

Ahhh! The crying at the end of "Vengeance" is exactly what I was going to mention. I watched that so much after the episode aired I practically wore out my videotape. He just plays that scene so, so beautifully. They usually make him play Clark pretty unemotionally, and when he gets a chance to break a little loose he's just awesome.

Vengeance is just so, so awesome. It's my favorite episode of the series, to ne honest. The ending always gets me. It hit close to home, and Tom just played that so well. Perfect.

I LOVE that interview! Another interview I really like it the Hollywood North Reporter one he did at the end of s4. It was very good as well.

I think my favorite quote comes from, I believe, one of his appearances on The View, and he says "Marriage is more beautiful than anything I could have possibly imagined." That is incredibly sweet.

And word sbout Labyrinth. His performance in that episode is just...really amazing. Damn, he's good. :)

I love so many things about Tom I could write a book! I loved him in Labyrinth but I loved him in the Pilot too! He has made me laugh and cry along with Clark and has made me love that character more than any other in years! He makes me proud of his talent and never ceases to amaze and enchant me with his beauty and his charisma. He opened the door to the fandom world to me and it's him who keeps me here. He has been a constant presence in my life for more than five years and counting... I just couldn't thank him enough for all this.

I wish Tom all the best. He deserves it!

Well said! He's really grown over the years. He's learned so much from over the years, and you can really see it from his performances and now direction.

The Noir picture is the hotness. Yummy. And excellent moments you've chosen! There are really too many to name, right?

And I'm glad he got a little announcement over the radio. I wish I could have heard it.
