Oh, Karen- tell me. As all-important student council president, you have access to your school's attendance records, don't you?

As of about a year ago, I'm partially responsible for them. Why?

You... do remember I can't worldhop, right?

That's no problem at all. I'll worldhop to your world and retrieve my necklace, then we'll both go back to my world and fetch your little Midori.

And then, if you're feeling uncharacteristically forgiving, I might get to go home. No, you bring her here, and we'll trade.

Why would I want to keep you?

You want to make me suffer for daring to ask for decent behavior from you. You don't trust me to keep my mouth shut about certain things now that you don't have any leverage. You had so much fun holding Hakuba-san prisoner for no reason that you wanted to try it again. The virus had a lasting effect on you. You just don't care enough to put me back where you found me when you're done. Who knows? The point is that I don't trust you.

One- I have no real interest in making you suffer for anything you "dared" to say, I just want my necklace back.
Two- I actually have quite a lot of leverage, even more so after that virus. Three- That was an arrest, and I fully recognize the fact that this is a kidnapping. Strangely, however, I don't care. Four- You're an idiot. Five- worldhopping you two home would take two seconds, and would be much less of an inconvenience to me than abandoning you to run loose in my world.

I don't care if you trust me or not. If you want Midori back where she belongs, you'll have to do as I say anyway.

If I don't trust you, which I don't, there's little reason for me to believe you will bring her back, other than the knowledge that there's no way you're pleased to still have her there.

In any event, your method is needlessly complicated. There's absolutely no need for me to go to your world--since you have to come here anyway, you should just bring her with you, take the necklace when you leave, and be done with it.

And have you go "Pretty Cure" on me and attempt to take both the girl and my necklace? I don't think so.

You, of all people, should know exactly how much of an issue that isn't.

... Pfft, dammit, I had forgotten that she had "lost" her powers. *fails* Improvising time! peoplesprincess January 21 2009, 22:44:11 UTC
But you're still probably quite an adept fighter, aren't you? I'm not in the mood for a fight, even one that I'd probably win. It would be pointless and unnecessarily complicated.

And would inevitably result in Midori-san rushing me to the hospital for severe burns while demanding to know where I got to be so good at fighting and where the fire came from. I realize you've convinced yourself that I'm exceptionally stupid, but surely even you know I'm smarter than that.

Regardless, I'd prefer to ensure that things go my way without a hitch. Therefore, if you want your classmate back, you're going to have to come to my world.

Do you expect to be able to complete this process in under fifteen minutes?
