[Have an Azula wearing red harem pants and a loose tunic-style shirt (this is video because she wants to show off her new clothes, OF COURSE), and looking to be in a better mood than she's been in recently (NO MORE WHINING, YAY)]So as it turns out, I did go shopping last weekend. It wasn't as difficult as I had expected to find Earth-style clothes ( Read more... )

Sneezing is unpleasant, but I'd hardly call it disgusting...

New clothes?

The result is disgusting, especially if you don't have a handkerchief on hand.

Yes.

Well, yes. But it's not as though you can prevent it somehow.

Well congratulations. What sorts of clothes do you like from earth?

You can prevent it by not getting sick in the first place.

For day clothes? The same sorts of things I like from home. Loose pants and silk shirts.

Most people do not get sick on purpose, I would think.

Expensive, but I certainly can't fault your taste. Anything from here you like that you don't have at home?

There are ways it can be prevented.

Clothing-wise? Not really.

Mmm. There are ways you can reduce your chances. But you can't simply 'stop' getting sick. At least not on earth.

Really? I love clothing, myself. All sorts of styles and forms. It's something of a hobby, really.

I have an excellent immune system. I rarely get colds, and I haven't had the flu since I was eleven.

I wouldn't consider it a hobby for me, but I do like to look nice.

Well, you're quite lucky then. Although 'rarely' isn't never, so I'd think you'd be used to sneezing.

Well, I have a lot of money and not a lot of outlets for it. And clothing certainly can be an ego boost at times. You should see my closets sometime.

Everyone is used to sneezing.

I don't need the ego boost.

Not necessarily true. I knew a girl who sneezed three times in her entire life, as far as she could remember. She hated doing it, said it made her feel like she was covered in needles.

No, you don't need it. But isn't it nice sometimes?

... That sounds like something you just made up.

I get "ego boosts" from things that have to do with my skills and accomplishments.

Why would I make something like that up? If I'm going to lie, I'll lie about something important.

If you're good at something already, where's the boost?

Hm.

Making myself better at it, of course. Accomplishing new things.
