I flew home (for the very first time) on Monday! That's right, I never flew before. My mom is deathly afraid of flying, so we just never went anywhere that required flying. Does anyone know how to select specific custom friends groups for an entry on lj now? It only gives you the option of "custom", but that isn't good enough for me. Haha.

Today I did a sample 15 minute teaching lesson in front of a composition instructor and three other GTAs. I think I did well overall, and everyone made really nice, positive comments about my teaching style. I was only nervous for about the first couple of minutes, which was good.
