While waiting for Heroes to start back up, after an all-too-short first season, why not look up these other fine everyman-superhero TV series of days gone by

I loved "The Greatest American Hero" as a kid (it was seriously my favorite super hero show of all time). Does it hold up?
"My Secret Identity" was pretty good and "Lois and Clark" too... I do think that was Dean Cane's charm.
As for the "Back to the Future" franchise... the first is my favorite, followed by the third, but the second one is just plain horrible.

But as long as you're talking about super hero TV, do you remember "The Phoenix"?

It may not fit in with the rest of these because it's animated, but I'm a really big fan of The Tick.
