Oh no, why did you have to go and remind me. I haven't done ANY of the calc stuff yet. NONE. Not to mention the programs. Geez. I think I'm going to go play tennis today if it doesn't rain. Yay! Procrastination! Woohoo! Dammit...
I'm going to Michigan, didn't I tell you? I'm living at Telluride House next year. So come visit me! We can play ping pong, play around on their GRAND PIANO, plan DDR on HARD METAL PLATFORMS, and eat good food! I think you already knew I was going...
I loved lessons at Evola! Who's your teacher? Every time I had a recital she would like, take me out to the recital hall or the room in the side with all those grands and tell me to play. It was awesome. :]
dude if i had to have lessons in those tiny rooms though i'd cry...those pianos are soooo harsh!!! haha it was like i had a little mini recital for an audience of one...it was fantastic. although...i wish they'd left the shigeru kawaii in there...OH MY GOSH THAT PIANO IS ORGASMIC.
haha are you sure non-awesome-people are allowed in there? *timid* dfkajs;fdlkajfd GRAND PIANO and DDR????? promise me we won't grow apart. ^_^
I totally thought that they weren't accepting applications except for the winter semester...not like it matters, for I have already turned in my housing app.
...since apparently most of the freshman engineering classes are on Central campus anyway, North campus would require me to take the bus every day...?
Yep. More precisely, most of the requirements for engineering are not actually "engineering" classes... they're math and science classes, and are offered through LSA. And you'll probably be filling out the holes in your schedule with interesting LSA classes anyway, since you can't take most of the engineering ones until the requirements are out of the way. You'll spend maybe 25% of your class time on North the first year.
Well, I lived in Mosher-Jordan last year. I definitely recommend you avoid living there, on account of the, you know, dorm being closed and all.
The Hill area is pretty good in general. Markley is farther from Central than the others, but it has a better cafeteria setup and a convenience store/fast food grill (fries, burgers, tacos, etc.) Really, I haven't heard anything significantly bad about one dorm or the other.
