I read some of that pairing before the movie came out, but so far, haven't stumbled across any post movie yet.

As a reader, Darcy/Clint is definitely my favorite pairing from the movies (aside from Tony/Pepper, but everyone does them either very badly or not at all. Because of Tony/Steve. So annoying!)

I love Clint's nose in your picture, and Darcy's hat.

I know! Het fic becomes dominated by romantic tropes when I really want it to be dominated by the characters. Darcy/Clint tends not to this mainly because Darcy made such a mark as a quirky kid.

Also, I admit, after Captain America I really wanted to read Steve/Tony because the characters would so clearly be coming from completely different places that a lot of work would be needed to grow their relationship -- what a great story to read! But I never found that story -- they always clicked and loved each other right away (until the movie -- THANK YOU, Joss Whedon, for writing me a story where different characters come from different places and care about different things).

On that note -- I am often willing to art in exchange for fic. I don't know if you really write much, but if you ever write avengers fic, let me know. I will make you pictures. :P
