the question is, can I find a way to blame ileliberte for this

The weirdest part about lacking a fandom is that I don't know who to draw silly pictures of during ill-advised bouts of procrastination. I got nothing.

I think I need some kind of fandom pimping service.

Well, I -- ok, I have no idea what any of those are. Fannish links?

When you say fannish links, you mean...?

Could you tell me a little about the shows or link me to the fandom, if that makes sense? I am a stranger in a strange livejournal. Comms? Fic? Newbie guide?

Completely not required, of course! But if you felt inclined, I would -- er -- thank you effusively?

Gotta put a vote in for Leverage! Think how much fun you could have drawing Parker hanging in her gear, or eking into tight places!

Leverage is good, as are Warehouse 13, Sanctuary.. Um... Hmm. There's quite a few, actually.

I am quite serious in being on the prowl for a new homebase fandom. Could I bother you for some fannish links? Newbie guide if it exists? Thank you for the suggestions. :)

Sure! Let me find some for you...

Leverage <--- Has Timothy Hutton, Gina Bellman, Aldis Hodge, and Beth Reisgraf. Think Ocean's Eleven meets Robin Hood, but with more geeky awesomeness than you can shake a stick at. Just ended Season 2.

Warehouse 13 <--- This one's only just finished its first season, so I'm relatively sure you can find episodes online and catch up before Season 2 starts.

Lie to Me <--- Very good. Has Tim Roth in it. Just started Season 2.

Sanctuary <--- Just started Season 2. Very good; has Amanda Tapping, Christopher Heyerdahl, Ryan Robbins and quite a few Stargate regulars/extras in it. It's a very eye-catching show, and one of my favorites.

Riese the Series <--- A steampunk-inspired web-series starting November 2nd. The previews of the costumes and setting are just a taste of the eye-candy that is promised. Has Ben Cotton, Christine Chatelaine, Sharon Taylor, Patrick Gilmore, and Ryan Robbins.

No Merlin?

Merlin really should be it. Without the pervasive assumption of Morgana's unstable villainy, Merlin and I would be OTP so fast.

Part of me is in denial and going for an OT4 OF AWESOME, but I know what you mean. Quite sadly so. :(

And yet, I'm pretty certain I won't be able to escape the gravity well much longer. :)
