I was having a discussion with my partner about contemporary art and after looking up John Currin's work, I remembered the various artists on LJ that I saw that were my favorites, and your name came up in my head, I remember seeing your work on either Artists or Artworks, or both. I must say that your work is amazing and it says so much about our culture, it's inspiring to see such a blatant point come across in your images. I fancy myself an artist as well but my attempts are much more personal and emotional, I have made some collages that represent somewhat what you are trying to say in your paintings. I got a lot of my inspiration from the hideous articles in Cosmo. I guess I just wanted to say that your art did reach me in a very beautiful and positive way and thanks for sharing that with everyone, know that it is appreciated.
