Interesting basis for a story. I'm assuming that since the Marauders didn't create a Horcrux diary that they used a similar magic to what they used in the map? I always really did like how the map 'spoke' to people if they got the password wrong. Your idea certainly is a unique way to connect Harry to his father, Sirius and Remus. Of course, he'll have to swallow the bitter pill that Wormtail is there too. It's just like Lupin to pose a trick question and very characteristic of Sirius to do anything possible to tick off his mum. Curious to see where you'll go with this story.
