SO EXCITED you updated again. Wonderful as always. Makes me miss France with my girlfriend. Also makes me miss Shaun of the Dead. Tra la la.

haha, thank you! I'm hoping to milk my short stay abroad as long as this comic will sustain itself.

and god, how could I not have watched Shaun of the Dead again in preparation..!? I'll have to correct this immediately. "It's not hip-hop, it's electro!"

What size notebook did you draw these in? I've been using one of those back-pocket reporter-style notebooks for a couple months, and I can't cram 1/4 as much detail onto one of those pages as you have. Tell me you're using something bigger!

oh! No no, this is the 5 x 8 1/4'' book, though when I drew my minicomic, every page was that backpocket size. This is the kind of detail I had to cram:

That is still pretty dang epic. I'm going to have to try and get that kind of detail on those little pages, instead of half-assing everything with a giant marker.

thanks! I've always had a strong inclination to draw very tiny... I've been trying to force myself out of the habit, and it's interesting to see how it changes my drawing. Still, I like drawing the occasional comic on the back of receipts!

Wow, LOVE the expression in that title page! The detail in this comic is great :)

I was confused by "Mince!" though... so I looked it up! Thanks for teaching me something today about French exclamations! :)
I'm sure glad you updated :D

Thank you very much! Expect more silly French obscenities, which were really the only words I used there. I'm on track with the next pages, so hopefully another update soon!

I like the way you designate the zombies largely through the spooky white eyes. And "Awesome, we totally got this place to ourselves!" is a great mode for a zombie story!

Thanks, Jason! I realized in my preliminary sketches that I stink at trying to draw actual menacing horror, so I tried to pare it down to eyes and bitemarks. Perhaps I'll learn as I go along.

There should just be an entire city converted into a zombie-theme park. I'd get a loft there.

Thank you! I'm trying to teach myself to draw varying perspectives again! It will be a bit of a bear for a while
