This is really nicely done, Andrew. Understated enough that it hits all the right notes. The lack of panel borders works particularly well too, I think, to convey these sort of disconnected flashes of thought. I love the subtle gradient on the game screen.

Thanks a lot, Matt. I really appreciate the feedback. I was really trying to restrain myself in the narrative here. I'll admit I may have kept it too ambiguous, but I'm glad you dug the fragmented quality.

I, too, really like that little gradient. It really make me remember that fuzzy screen.

love it. I particularly like the panel with just the VHS tape; I kind of forgot those existed!
The colors are lovely as well :)

i know the vhs really punctuates - not only visually - in all its details but also in his story telling

Thank you very much!

My nostalgia knows know boundaries; part of me already misses VHS. At least, their oddly vertical cover compositions, which are burned into my mind.

<3 im so glad you are still creating - ive fallen off the wagon in that sense.

i always tell myself im going to get up and make something but id rather crochet and drink wine....

i dont know what that says about me >_<

maybe i started creating for therapeutic purposes and crochet fulfills that need?

anyho~ no more soul searching.

as always amazing stuff! take care of yourself

aw, thank you very much. I have the hardest time motivating myself to make anything. I'll go weeks without drawing anything! Crocheting is still creating (with more merit than cartooning, you may say)!
