About Me: I live in Brooklyn and I like to try and take advantage of as many of the fun, weird, and unique events that happen in the city (I actually have a blog about the things I do, admittedly I need to update it more!). I just moved in with my boyfriend this past weekend. I'm going to school for nuclear medicine after already going to school for music business. I am pretty honest and straightforward and will answer anything you ask of me. Overall I'm enthusiastic about the things I do and I hope you are enthusiastic about the things you do as well. While I am interested in Japanese culture, I'm not so into anime and manga. I studied abroad in Japan in 2007 which fueled my passion for traveling, which I try to do as often as I can. I am really into (film) photography, I just got myself a Lubitel which I'm excited about. I also like to think I have a good sense of humor, I can usually make people laugh, though I'm not sure if that really comes through in my writing?
Likes: Travel, photography, music, going to shows, riding my bike, silly/weird/ridiculous events, eating, driving, playing bass, singing karaoke, photobooths, bacon, bloody marys, having fun.
Dislikes: Drama, homework, studying, American cheese, crappy things?
Books/Authors: Just read the Hunger Games which was good, and I liked the His Dark Materials trilogy, and Battle Royale. Hoping to have more time to read once the semester is over, I usually don't have time to read during classes which bums me out.
TV: I watch TV through Netflix, so right now we're watching 30 Rock, Weeds, Archer.
Music: Sugarcult, Jawbreaker, Rocket From the Crypt, Longwave, Forgetters, Ra Ra Riot, Sasquatch and the Sick-a-Billys, The Hives, The Kills, Editors, Maximo Park, Andrew W.K., Michael Jackson, etc.
