I read a lot of those books too. My high school days were never anything like Sweet Valley. Sometimes, I wish they had been, but then I realize I wouldn't have really liked that. I prefer the company to a few close freinds, my animals, and many, many books.

It's sometimes hard to be true to yourself, but, in the end, I've decided it's worth doing.

This is kind of a rambling comment. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I relate to what you wrote.

Thank you. I'm not glad that you went through the same thing, but it's good to have a community and know you're not alone. I guess I was always confused why life wasn't like books. I was a dreamer and found the real world really jarring.
