Everyone's at it

Feb 21, 2009 22:11

January was a total bust so I'm doing the two memes floating around to make up for it! And I'm sorry, but it has no Disney content within...or DOES IT*?

I just learned it's not pronounced Mee Mee )

tv: saved by the bell, meme, everyday adventures, tv: gossip girl, the bones show, damian lewis

Also, apparently Mark-Paul Goselaaaaaar and Lark Voorhies were together in real life when they filmed that episode which makes SBTB more like One Tree Hill then we previously thought.

WHAT. WHAT IS THIS. TELL ME MORE. Sometimes I have to double check my DVDs to make sure that episode actually happened.

Also I miss you and think you should post ALWAYS. I don't care if that makes me sound like an L 7 Weenie.

Hahaha I have spent all of tonight trying to figure it out! I just read some blurb on imdb that mentioned they were dating and was like "Bzuh?!" Now I need to somehow find the E! True Hollywood Story they did about SBTB to see if they mentioned it or anything.

HAHA oh god look at this picture. Yipes.

I MISS YOU TOO! I forgot to mention in your post that I will totally buy a timeshare on Joe Island with you. You probably have better drinks over there anyway.

you play ball like a GIIIIRL. irishmizzy February 22 2009, 04:47:21 UTC
Hahaha, I want you to post ALL THE TIME. Even more than I want someone to take Taylor Momsen aside and show her a) makeup remover b) the business end of a comb c) how to stand up straight.

Also, WHAT. MARK PAUL AND LARK DATED? Iiiii did not know that.

the plots are absolutely ridiculous (we're talking like, STANDOFF level here)

Heeeee, sometimes people get buried alive in cars or have their dads escape jail, you know? IT COULD HAPPEN TO ANYONE. (Someone once told me they thought of The Bones as televised fanfic and I lol'ed so hard until I realized that, well, that's pretty much exactly right.)

You're killin me Smalls! pennylane83 February 22 2009, 05:07:52 UTC
Oh man, did you see that one picture of her on Go Fug Yourself in the green dress with the red lipstick? WHAT IS THAT? WHAT. I'm a bit concerned for her well being. And her posture.

YES. THEY DATED. DOES THAT NOT BLOW YOUR MIND??

Hahaha remember that time on Bones when they went undercover in Vegas as Tony and Roxie or that other time Bones spent the whole time trying to rescue someone dressed as Wonder Woman? It IS exactly like fanfic. The best fanfic ever written!

Base up, you blockheads. irishmizzy February 22 2009, 16:36:01 UTC
YES, that GFY. God, she is looking SO HORRIBLE and strung out all the time, will no one intervene? SHE IS SUCH A TRAINWRECK. And fifteen. God, it's so worrisome. Why is no one helping her? Maybe Schwartz will go the Mischa Barton route and kill her off next season, leaving Rufus and Dan to wail uncontrollably about the cruel world. And then Dan and Serena will get back together for the 10392nd time, only to break up mid-funeral procession.

Yesssss! I was shocked when I found out! How did I go 15 years without this knowledge? And hahaha that toga episode, a Very Special episode where we find out that drinking and driving is BAD (which, okay, yeah, but SBTB manages to make it a super cheesy lesson in the process)

Goddammit, I was just going to post with, "You're killin' me, Smalls!" but you beat me to it. Maybe I could make a Wendy Pfeffercorn reference? Oilin', lotionin'. Lotionin', oilin'.

You totally didn't make up the Zack/Lisa scenario in your head because, if I recall correctly, he was wearing a hideous colorblock shirt and those jeans with the fake chaps glued to the front from waist to knee, and I don't think your head would punish you with something like that.

Ah, Julie & Julia. A word of advice, when you get to the part about her murdering a lobster, don't read it in public, because when you giggle and then have to explain why you're giggling, people look askance at you.

Heee Wendy Pfeffercorn. Squints was pervin' a dish.

You're right, my head would totally not punish me with that hideous fashion, nor would it cause me to remember the fact that they all had to wear multi-colored bathrobes OVER the colorblock shirts prior to the show because that's just what happens in the fashion world.

I bought that book on your recommendation- apparently I never thanked you eons ago for sending me that list of books! So thank you a brazillian years late. Haha murdering a lobster, I can't wait.

'Member how he married her? Wendy Pfeffercorn, you got duped. You should have married Benny.

Haha, you're right, there were robes too! Horrifying. It's like Lisa was designing the inhibited, preppy version of Hugh Hefner.

You're welcome! And I hope you like it so you don't hate me for recommending it.

Bones is PURE GLEE. It's the kind of show that sounds annoying and typical when you describe it and then you're forced to grab the person you're talking to until you convince them that it is DELIGHTFUL and hilarious.

How do you like A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius? I've heard good things.

Haha it's true, it's impossible to describe the show without making it sound like the worst thing on the planet but it is SO GOOD I SWEAR!

I actually found Heartbreaking Work a little hard to get into at first but I'm really enjoying it. It's got a totally unique tone.
