Buffoonery

 I am trying (and failing) to finish this letter of interest for the Clown Conservatory, and I just wanted to share my progress with you guys

I have a family friend who is a clown. She is disabled, has a lumpy arm that doesn't work, and so one would think that she would be the kind of seriously creepy, or very very sad ironic clown, but she is tremendously good at her job. Take what you want from that story, but my point for you is that there are as many types of successful clowns as there are people.

Also, as someone who is still poised in the maw of graduate school, I completely understand that self-criticism and inertia. Overcoming it is the only thing to do.
