It's really only a one liner, but I'll still put this under a cut.

So... )

Ha! When I spotted Three in the beginning, I was all like "Lucy!!!!", not knowing that this was...it. *grumble*

Such a great way to characterize the man!

And I was happy they did solve some of the open ends. Small things like who Six met when she said goodbye to Baltar, but there were more that made my smile because they filled in the blanks.
Like the back story of the late appearance of Ellen.

Other than that it had a documentary feel. An missing scenes reel. I wonder if it is understandable for someone without prior knowledge

Fail. Tory was one of the most compelling characters on BSG. And Rekha Sharma's a terrific actress, imo.

Does the movie fill in any gaps, really? I'm still not convinced I want to watch this thing.

Oh yes, it fills you in on the fact that President Laura Roslin did not exist. At all. Even if she, theoretically, was in a scene and rocked said scene, it is edited as if she wasn't there. Or if she, theoretically, was linked to Leoben a bit - there's no mention of her at all. But hey, you see her stunt double's legs, I'm sure some people might be content with that. :P ( ... )

This is all good information. By "good" I mean "useful" rather than "pleasing."

Your final line has cemented my decision not to watch.

Aww, I'm sorry (?). Maybe you would like it? :/

And you can't possibly miss out on a rather hilarious Doral line. *ggg*

They just never knew what to do with her...apart from giving her a real bad hair day...

Geez, you're fast. Was it any good (like you know, having Laura left only to imagination kind of good?)

Hmmm, some bits of it were rather good. Other stuff was meh or just didn't interest me. I guess you maybe have to be in a certain state of mind to watch this, you know? The whole atmosphere is more "No Exit"/cylonstory-like than gritty realism miniseries-like. I prefer the latter and am not too much into the former, so...

There is some food for thought in all of this, though, and that's one of the good things.
