Well. I hadn't really planned for this one. I've been laid up in New York for the past two days, and frankly, while I'm trying to stay optimistic, it doesn't seem unlikely that I'll make it home before the holidays... and I have to go to the airport here in a few minutes and start the whole waiting, waiting, waiting process all over again. I hope you make it home safe and sound. Tomorrow it's supposed to warm up alot, so maybe that will help things go more smoothly. In any case, I miss you terribly and can't wait until you're back.

One of my friends in Japan wanted to go home for the holidays and is really broken up about being stuck there because of Portland's shitstorm. This is terrible weather that seems like it's just ruining everyone's plans. I hope you're able to get there!

I AM home! I made it! And I think we should all try to get together tomorrow -- I can't find my cell phone, but hopefully I will by then. Does anyone have a car that can drive? :P
