*Yawn* Well that concludes the first week of my second term at Yamasa and my God what have I let myself in for? My icon says it all.
The first 3 days in M Class were genuinely horrible. The teachers talk faster, the work is harder, and I, it appears, am growing dumber. Luckily today and yesterday were better. Still hard, still fast, but somehow

You're back again ^_o...
Good luck with the kanji. And also the typhoon. Sunny England has been grizzling with half-hearted rain, as usual, and the occasional thunderstorm - usually whenever I happened to be standing under a tall tree.
Am also reading loads of books, since a friend of mine works in publishing ^_^ *fringe benefits are awesome...* but still haven't touched minna no nihongo. I truly fail. Looking forward to nabbing HP7 off a friend, though, and reading it during my boring data-entry job with its wonderful enforced-39-hour week *bleugh*.

So, as an Okazaki veteran, are there likely to be more typhoons soon? Is this the season for them?

I've been weak in my kanji studies recently and need to jump-start them. I think that viewing kanji as more of a hobby type of thing might make it more enjoyable. Or something.
We didn't get any serious typhoons last year, so I can't say. Probably nothing to worry about, at least.
