Thank you. It was a fun exercise in cuteness. A very interesting process compared to doing fanart.

Awe.

*huggles*

This warmed my fic newbie heart. I was hoping this would be as cute to others as it was to me.

Wonderful! I really enjoyed reading your first fic. Great title, nice dialogue, and more importantly (imho) excellent characterization. :D

The art is a nice bonus as well!

Thanks for sharing your talents.

I...actually...forgot who wrote this while I was reading. I love it. It's actually...hot. As well as adorable and a little sad and full of longing. I clicked on it to see what you'd been up to and got caught up in the...the good writing. I'm really enjoying this feeling of going back and forth between "I love this fic" and "a friend wrote it and I'm leaving a comment."

Sherlock going nearly horizontal as he revealed something about his family was my absolute favorite part. I loved that so much. It's perfectly Hogwarts, perfectly in the tone of JKR's universe, and I can so clearly picture teen Sherlock doing the slink of shame in an elegant catlike but still mortified teenage way. Oh, Sherlock. *cuddling him*

HA HA HA HA HA the Holmes family unamused at Mycroft's Sorting! HAAAAAAA!

Really? Really? :D You forgot it was me? And you thought it was hot, and sad, and full of longing? :DDDDD I feel like Sherlock right now after John has just told him he was amazing.

I had a lot of fun picturing Sherlock and John as teenagers and trying to elicit their rapport and also their own emotional tells at that age. I'm so glad you enjoyed the Sherlock goes horizontal part. He's so damn dramatic as a 30-something that I imagined he was particularly over the top as a teen.

And poor Mycroft. Maybe how he deals with his sorting is a story worth writing. I also secretly want to write a story about Anderson.

This was adorable. Is this really your first fic? I love Potterlock when it's well done and seamlessly combined, and this is absolutely both! Sherlock is still Sherlock here, draping himself over every horizontal surface and full of disdain, and John getting after him for putting his feet on the pillows - LOVE.

I love that Mycroft's sorting wasn't what the family expected, but I do wonder if Mycroft was pleased about that.

Thank you! This is high praise. It's not technically my first fic since I did write a little Neville/Luna epistolary piece back in 2006. But I have not written fic since then. It thrills me to hear that you thought the characters and the universe were well-combined.

And as for Mycroft's sorting, that sounds like a story worth telling. Hmm...
