Another great chapter. I love the way you've handled John and Sherlock in this story - they aren't the same, but they are equals. It's a nice take on their dynamic.

I confess, I stole the interpretation from the Moff. In the ASiP commentary he referred to John as "a tremendously competant man" to paraphrase.

The way I see it, Sherlock will only bother with you if you've got something to offer that's equal to his own deductive skills. If Sherlock can learn from you, and if you're clever enough in your own field to earn his respect, then you're golden.
