Bad News, Possibly.

I've not been writing much at all. Not because there are no ideas, but because I can't. I seem to have done something a bit awful to my wrist and it's been steadily worsening over the last week or so. Today it's gotten bad enough that I'm typing this left-handed. I'm slower than John ( Read more... )

Hmm. How's your neck? Happen to know any chiropractors or massage therapists? One of my very first regulars was about ready to go in for carpal tunnel surgery, and I talked her into weekly massage for 6 weeks. After I'd worked her neck and shoulders over in that span, her wrist was fine. Still proud of that one; she was a teacher and really NEEDED that wrist in good working order.

Well my breasts are F cups so I've had neck pain since I was about 11, when I first sprouted Ds. I probably wouldn't notice anything new, I've gotten so used to it. I don't really have the chance to get out much, or a lot of money, so though I'm desperate for a massage or a chiropractor, it's not all that feesable.

I have the brace on now. It makes typing kind of awkward, but my wrist seems a bit better since I got it. Though I'm about to ice it as well, see if that helps.

New York, possibly the most taxed state in the Union, essentially shitting on the middle and working class since forever.

Really, the only reason I'm still here is 1: Gorgeous, 2: Moving is expensive as fuck, and 3: We legalised gay marriage a couple years back, and I don't want to have to go through that will we/won't we agony again just yet.

But my beta lives in WA and they just passed it as well, so you never know.

I think if you rest it for a few days and keep the brace on you'll notice a difference. You may have just sprained it or something, fingers crossed.

I've had carpal tunnel for years and I find that when a wrist starts to have an "episode", doing some flexing exercises helps. Make sure to take ibuprofen and sleep in the brace. Hope your wrist feels better soon. -Shwatsonlocked
