Sorry, Guys

Updating is going to have to wait, I guess.

LJ has found even newer and more interesting ways to screw with my formatting. These ones are a lot more dibilitating than

Hmm.. have you thought about using a client to post? I usually don't even worry about spacing and such in my posts. And the normal HTML tags for italics and bold works fine as well.

This spacing you would worry about. I'm losing the spaces between paragraphs. It's turning everything into a massive wall of text, the kind it hurts just to look at. The whole thing is frustrating and annoying and I'm in no mood to deal with it now.

When I post with a client, all the space will just appear as I how I type it. So I don't have to worry about putting in codes for the spaces. I just copy and paste from word, and that's all done.

What does that mean, posting with a client?

It's not the posting, it's editing after I've already posted. When I try to, say, edit chapter three so that I can link it to chapter four, which I've just posted, all the line breaks that were there disappear.

For the entries themselves I can just recopy and repaste them, but I don't have a backup for the masterpost so if I were to try and add the link to the newly posted chapter, the entire masterpost becomes a solid wall of text.

All in all it's just frustrating and I don't want to deal with it right now. And I'm not too eager to see what new fuckery befalls me once I've managed to get around this one.

Even if it does prove difficult, I hope you stick at it and finish this off; I normally don't like magical stories, but you hooked me before I knew what had happened.
And please, pretty please, once you've sorted out lj, could you finish The Body Farm; so far, it is outstanding.
