I saw the day end, a blue sunset, black silhouette of sharp cut trees,
And through the finger twigs night filters through.
He begs them, but they cannot hold the day,
Away she goes into the west, to rest.
He comes then the dark night, a sigh, he loves her, the day.
But he fails to find her, she has gone.
