I borrowed a cordless circular saw from work to build my boxes for my garden plot. Last Monday, I picked up some lumber at a decent sale, 1"x8"x6'. I purchased 14 boards and spent 10 min looking for the straightest ones. Amazing pics! I've got my beds all done and I'm jealous. Personally I think planning and building the garden is half the enjoyment (thus far, that is). You're garden away from home is looking awesome! It even looks like the pathways have mulch over them. Well done! Not sure if you've got landscape fabric or even newspaper in the bottom of the beds, but I'd recommend something along those lines (cardboard's good too). It'll keep weeds from growing up when they taste the yummy nutrients of your 48 cu ft of growing matter.

All I can say about your 5.3 cu yards of mix is that it sucks to mix and put in, but then you'll never have to do anything remotely like it ever again. This form experience mixing and distributing 6.5 cu yards for my garden. Not so fun, but worth every minute of time and energy.
