why thank you! while i do have a certain attachment to my last name (Grucza [groo-cha]) I have often felt some kind of dissatisfaction with it, like it's not long enough to be a polish name or something. it just doesn't seem to have much of a ring to it, which may be important if i want a career in film or any other art form. my dad didn't seem to mind this idea either, as he had once changed his name earlier in his life. anyway, so why not go all out with Chudzinsky [hoo-jin-sky]? it's still in the family, sounds good with my first name, and looks fantastic. and if people are going to stumble over my last name as they have all my life, they may as well stumble over ALL of it. as for film school, it will probably be some time next year. establishing residency and all that rot. ariel and i plan to take a design class together while that's happening.
