I feel very awkwardly about The Dark Knight. I'd love to see it, but being raised on the cape york reserve, it's very hard for me to do.

The communities there consider it unlawful to view images or footage of the dead and I had it drilled into me rather firmly.

Not my people. Not my culture. But at the same time, it was my upbringing.

Not really. I not the type of person who remembers actor's names or any infomation about them. I'm only uncomfortable if I KNOW they're dead.

Ah, fair enough. Unfortunately, my freaky hyperthymestic wetware means that any bit of info I notice in the first place stays in my accessible memories forever. So it's a good thing I don't have your image-viewing constraints!

I was getting ever more impressed with Heath Ledger's acting chops, so I'm glad his last filmed work was a whacking great muhfuh of a tour-de-force performance.
