not even a month :(

And she's got a scratch.  Dan pulled into a parking space on Sunday and ran the front bumper over one of those parking curb things.  At least it's on the bottom, but darn it I know it's there.  Next time he can drive his car :'(

Mine was in a wreck within a month :-) An SUV took a left turn from a right lane, right onto me.

Take it from someone who loves his car quite a lot -- they're there for you to have fun with. If they aggravate you, what's the point?

That revelation was very zen for me :)

I know I know.. I didn't expect it to stay pristine for long. But I expected it to be a shopping cart or door ding, not my bf running into a curb :p

I'm not seriously upset..

I can empathise.
With in a month of me getting my truck (waaay back when it was new)
some fucker in an suv (had to be) backed into the rear end of my truck in a GSU parking lot and dented it *ABOVE* the bumper.
Then within a week of that Pauli backed into the SIDE of the BIG FUCKING RED truck that was parked in plain sight in the parking lot of Psi U. I mean, nothing around, good visibility.
Grrr.

Yeah, I mean, I knew it wouldn't stay pristine, but I think I would've been happier if it had been a stranger in a parking lot that gave it the first ding, not my bf :P

Ah well, I guess I can stop parking miles away from everything now ;)

I am always doing the front curb thing at work. We have a slope and you have to be way too careful to avoid it. Needless to say, I forget a lot. When I buy a new car, I won't ever park near anything around here.

Yeah I did it a lot in my old car. But the new one is like half as long in front so I end up parking like 4 feet away from the end of the space. It's kind of funny. It's not a huge deal.. I knew it would happen eventually, but... you know... it's the first scratch.
