It's almost Friday--thank goodness.

Just finished reading The Host by Stephenie Meyer. Has anyone else read it? Want to talk about it?

Oy! We have Neville for our new RPG (the one created by writersblock76 and miss_bowtruckle and me)!! He's our last level 1 character, but there's plenty more. Doesn't anyone want to play Roger or Oliver or Seamus or Dean or...

How was that book? I've always considered reading it, but I never got around to getting it...

I did enjoy it. I think it's worth a read, too. Completely different from the Twilight series.

I see Terry is still open, or at least not cast. *resistresistresist* I shouldn't take on anything new; I have no chance of finishing my hermionebigbang fic draft on time, and I don't even have a bunny for the clever_claws exchange. *headdesk*

*pets you* It's going to be fun game though! ;)

You could always read up on it and decide to join later when all your fics are done :)

Ha, well, at the rate I tend to finish things (my 2004 NaNoWriMo fic is still not finished) I probably wouldn't join until abou 2013 :D

I read it and actually enjoyed it. It was very different than anything I'd read in a long time, so it was somewhat refreshing. It's been a long time since reading it, but I still remember things. I hope they don't turn it into a movie because I think it would translate very poorly.
