I really hate plastic bags. I'm a complete supporter in taking your own bag to the grocery store and filling it up with groceries instead of those wretched plastic bags that can't be recycled. Hubby and I have three bags that we use, especially when it's a big grocery day ( Read more... )

I completely agree with you.

I have TONS of those grocery store bags because I keep forgetting them and then I buy more instead of using the plastic bags.

Currently we have 3 bags, but I'm tempted to get more sometimes--but I couldn't carry that many!

I have several in my closet, I try to grab two when I walk to the store.... sometimes I forget and then have to buy more. We also keep about 4 in the trunk of my friend's car... that way when we have impromptu trips to the store, we're still covered!

I think I've got maybe 6-7 special recycled plastic bags (with handles!) that I use for grocery shopping. I feel bad when I forgot to bring them :(

I feel bad, too, when I forget my bags. I wonder if I can carry my groceries out in my arms instead of those dang plastic bags.

The plastic bags are useless. I actually remembered to bring one of my green grocery bags to the farmer's market today! *pats self on back* I'm bringing home 3 big ears of corn, a tomato and a little chocolate-zucchini bread. Yum.

I have to agree.

I've got different coloured cloth bags I use every time I go grocery shopping. My current favourite colour: purple!

Nice to know there are other people out there doing their bit! My classmates all scoff when I give them my 'let's not waste paper, guys' spiel. Hmph.

I don't care when people scoff at me! Because dang, if they only knew.

One person recycling can make a difference. Sounds lamo but it's true!

Yay for others who try to take of the world, too :)
