A little bit of wind and the whole country goes up the wall!! The teachers were told to leave the school as soon as they could after seeing the children out because the weather is too dangerous and roads are being closed. My bus was detoured on the way home because Manchester Road was closed in Prescot. All the trains are off. The M57 is closed

London has ground to a halt in the wind :-( Even the 'underground' (more than half of it is overground) has loads of suspensions.
