Love this post -- all of it! Adorable pics, too!

The pandemic brought me back to LJ. I needed something in addition to Facebook. Seemed like a time to return to journaling, you know? How are you doing? I hope you and yours are safe and healthy. I also hope you'll see this comment and return to LJ!

LJ seems to be a safe haven for us these days. Many people don't know we're here, lots of folks abandoned it when it was purchases (and repurchased and repurchased), and we can still "hide" behind our avatars, even if we've met in meatlife.

I am well. We are well. We celebrate #24 on Sunday, so we're making it day by day. I've posted a bit, here and there, most of it ports from my website blog, which admittedly is just as barren. I do understand on a very base level that's I was more creative when I was journaling every day, and I need to get back to it. Thanks for the push.

I hope you and yours are well, too!

You are welcome! I discovered the same thing about being more active with writing when I was over here. I yearn for the safe haven of LJ as well. I'm glad you responded and I hope we can stay connected! Facebook deactivated my account due to 'suspicious activity' last October. I have a feeling it was hacked. But they will not let me have my old profile back, so I lost everything on there - posts, family pics - everything. I made a new FB profile, which is here: https://www.facebook.com/scribequill. I still use it almost daily, but that is not like it is here -- and I miss the creative, intimate, journaling activity of being here. :-)
