The Story Of The Dress

About a week ago, while clean­ing out the garage for the instal­la­tion of a new door, my wed­ding dress was unearthed. Unfor­tu­nately like every­thing else in the place where I live, there are holes where there should be solid con­struc­tion, and water from years of leaks did ter­ri­ble things to the lace and satin and tulle. Oooo, so many options. I would treat the material first for bacteria things. You want to kill that stuff before it gets any wise ideas. Then get creative with whatever survives the process. Maybe something that can be displayed so that whenever someone comes over you can point at it and say, "That's my wedding dress!" "That looks nothing like a dress." "Yep, that's my dress!"

That lace is so pretty, it deserves a second life.

As pretty lace always should! I love a creative challenge, but I live too far away... (turn off, Brain, you can't have it)
