Title: The Willing

Genre: General, drama
Word count: 531

Summary: Sakura never thought she'd understand his reasoning, let alone follow in his footsteps. Based on that rudeness meanness speech in chapter 458.
(
It was a somewhat depressing sight even without the memories it held. )

But I don't think that Sakura is really that selfish. I think she has great faith in Naruto. I think that she thinks that he can achieve almost anything and Naruto wants to live up to those expectations.
I think It can be pretty normal to hurt those we love without meaning to.
Your fic is refreshing, because it shows how Sakura is also willing to make sacrifices for Naruto AND Sasuke (even putting aside her own ideology) and I can totally picture that.
I like how you make Sakura compare her leaving Konoha, with Sasuke leaving Konoha and how she thinks is different because she is seeking "the greater good".
I love the when she focuses on the broken bench (is it an analogy of her lost innocence?)
Thanks for writting :)

Also, RE:458--Sai you dumbass, it's NARUTO'S fault for taking his promise like that. Sakura's never accused Naruto of failing to keep that promise--I don't think she's ever even brought it up other than to say that she wants to HELP Naruto in keeping it. GTFO and stop trying to play matchmaker. >|

Ugh, I know. Sai was such a douche. >\ You don't understand EMOTIONS, so don't act like you understand why Naruto's doing this. >\\

Wrote it perfectly, to the dot. It was just great seeing this Sakura (with your words and thoughts). It made it greater too when it does not actually have a pairing, but just their friendship and what they stand for, what they should stand for. Completely amazing. Great work.
