I stayed in that hostel too! It's the only time I've done a tour run by a hostel and it was very amusing. A Spanish guy in a kilt was our guide. I want to go back!
It was a great little hostel. I wish I could have stayed there when I came back after the Haggis trip, but it was booked out. :(
haha, my hostel tour was run by a young woman from Queensland! I didn't mind, but would have been shitty if the Haggis team didn't have real Scots doing their tours. :)
what has it been like for you? I think I probably have an unrealistic sense of how nice Scotland is because the weather was *too* perfect and it's never like that normally... ;)
Well yesterday Edinburgh was 10 and grey, and I was headed to Glasgow where it was a balmy 12 and bucketing down. That said, for first two days I was here I got sunburnt and then it just turned.
