i want to sign up for lumos so, so bad. two of my close friends are already pretty set on going. plus, dude, it's vegas. plus plus... there's nothing like going to a convention (TWH) to make you want to... go to a convention.

i really feel like i ought to be more sure i'll be able to afford it, though, before i make the decision. where's all this responsible thinking coming from? o.O

Mwah! Yeah -- I know what you mean. I finally signed up because it's now cheaper before October 31st and there's a limited attendance (have no idea if it's in danger of filling up ever, but still). And plus, I know myself. I might feel iffy about conventions before I go but I always wind up having a blast.

So, anyway. *pokes* Sign up already!

hee. i do love that icon... just wish i knew who'd made it. it's one of my few uncredited ones, because it's from the days before i had an lj and knew what icon crediting was all about. i think i got it off some person's website that might not exist anymore.

meanwhile, yours is gorgeous -- you do such great work. (i should really make the time to go through those icon posts of yours i still have bookmarked from way back.)

*i, for one, don't usually feel iffy about this sort of thing (though, i've only ever been to two)... i just worry about the cost and fitting it into my schedule. if i could, i'd go to conventions all the time.

Alas, Lumos doesn't accept cancellations but if you wind up not going, you can sell off your tickets. So worst case, you're $125 poorer, but I'm sure there'll be people willing to buy closer to the event. And it'll be FUN!
