That must have been so cool! Boulder seems like such a warm hearted city! Such warm heartedness that the dry heat here can't replace.
The only time I saw something similar to a performance were these teenage guys at Arrowhead mall during the summer. The had a boombox they brought, and they just starting dancing just because. They weren't doing anything wrong, so they didn't get in trouble.
To me, Phoenix seems a bit cold regardless of the weather. Anyone on the street here without a permit automatically gets in trouble if the cops see. (At least, that's what I've heard.) I'm not sure about Boulder's laws, but do you think all of those performers have permits?
I suppose Boulder must be more humble. Humble is nice. :) I can understand though, since Boulder must be 5 times smaller than Phoenix. Sure, we have to have rules like permit stuff; it's a big city!
