Tonight?

It was pretty much "piano student get together" - my teacher had a recital. Fun. I hung out with Abby.

We went to that one Mackinaw's restaurant. I ordered shrimp...it was good...I like shrimp.

There were a bunch of senior citizens waiting by the entrance. My mom dropped Jake and me off and went to find somewhere to park, while we waited

I'd never be able to pull that off. I can't even synchronize my hands, so that one can play something, and the other can play something completely different.

Rhythm sense of course. It took me 1 hour to try and play the two parts of Don't Stop Believin' slowly, but I still can't get it right. And it's only the beginning notes to the song too!

I can play Chopsticks well though. You know Chopsticks, both hands have the same steady rhythm, except the second part of the song, where you go down the scale of C.

Yeah. I don't come from a musical family, so I'm on my own. I know that shouldn't stop me from learning; I try my hardest. :)

yeah, my family is...idk. not THAT musical. my mom plays guitar, and both my parents played stuff as kids.

im taking piano lessons now...im progressing, but i still like to play by ear a lot. i like having to figure out stuff. and i also like that i can pick the song. u know?
