“Oh this is going to be fun,” Dean frowned.

Amen.

(Loving it, even though it is oh so dark and miserable. The darkness of the situation makes the hopeful sweet beautiful parts shine through even more clearly.)

Thank you! Hopefully, each story will be just a shade lighter. It's a process.

The last line has me suddenly wishing it was Thursday already. I tell myself I like the show for the writing, but I must admit there is some enjoyment in watching the guys in action. Especially Dean and his sarcasm...

Anyway...yay Chloe and being stubborn enough to try and fix herself. Dean doesn't need a damsel and Chloe definitely isn't one.

*thumbs up* :P

*nods* That's what I love about what Allison brings to life in the character of Chloe. She can be so wonderfully vulnerable without ever being reduced to Damsel status.

steps from around the corner...yeah I haven't commented in a while...but *first*!!

I love how the characters are still themselves despite the *clears throat* AWFUL situations you have put them through.

I really do think she would start hyperventilating if she had probs while sticking her head through the window. I wouldn't have her strength I tell ya that...and I couldn't help but glance at the "at home-cleaning" and that sounds like me...posting something on the internet while "cleaning" hehe.

Glad to see you! I think your icon is awsome!

Sticking her head in the window isnt' a problem. It's when she has to go inside that the claustrophobia gives her problems.

Chloe is a strong character. Look at all she's been through on Smallville. That's part of what makes her so compelling.

That and the snark.

Oh well, back to doing laundry. ;)

Oh well, back to doing laundry. ;)

Took the words right outta my mouth...

I think I typed that thought wrong...if all she could do was stick her head through the window, and she forced herself inside she would hyperventilate...um, yeah thats what I wanted to say...but that's true.

I don't really keep up with Smallville like I used to but she's the character that I like the best b/c of her strength and snark.

This chapter made me happy. I think because it made Dean kind of happy. I love the idea of him re-building an old porch and just watching Chloe write. It's the kind of relationship they'll always have even after the dust settles. And Chloe is just awesome in her resolve. Fantastic chapter.

I think some of my favorite parts to write are the little quiet domestic scenes. Because that's kind of how Chloe and Dean in this series have grown. Yes, they're both volitile togeater at times. But when they're not being sarcastic or yelling at one another, there is just this quiet affection that runs deep.

Portraying that is so much fun.

Our girl is kind of an anti-damsel. She refuses to be put up on a pedistal, and she refuses to sit quietly by and wait to be saved.

Dean tends to stuff everything. Which means that the folks who love him are just going to have to work that much harder to dig it out.

*nods*

There is so much irony in that, because SV's Chloe is, personality wise, the DCU's Lois Lane.

Oh well, at least in this verse, there are big damn heroes that appreciate her.
