Oh, poor Chloe for not understanding why Dean really left her.

*nods* The sad thing is that they both made tragic errors because they care for each other so much. Dean lied about what he was doing to protect Chloe, and so she wouldn't get involved in the rescue and potentially end up a lab rat.

The chloe assumed that Dean left her, and got hurt, so she ran of to persue some side job.

Then Dean let his jealousy get the better of him and didn't even try to get a note to her and explain.

Then Chloe assumed the worst and didn't even try to find him.

Fortunately, by ch. 5 of the Five Times! fic, they worked it all out. And both of them had some pretty awsome side adventures while they were apart.

OT - do you read the Dark Hunter novels?

The Witches series by Terry Pratchett. Granny Weatherwax is a good witch. She's probably meant to be a bad witch of the gingerbread house and oven variety, but she just won't fall for it.

Granny Weatherwax doing good is to be more greatly feared than any evil witch doing bad, because she is the kind of lady who thinks that the best medicine should be the kind that tastes bad and dosen't go down easy.

I've heard a lot about the dark hunter novels, but I've not gotten into them. Partially because I'm a little burned out on angst and aristocratic vampires between Rice and Hamilton.
