I really can't have a Chlean story without the snark. It's kind of impossible. The caracters kind of write their own dialog in my head. ;)

Some of that comes from just observing the differences between Marvel and DC in regards to super heroes. Marvel has always had this anti-establishment, disenfranchised, word that hates and fears us vibe when dealing with mutants. It makes for good confict, but it's been the underlying theme of all mutant comics since the sixties. You would think that after thirty years, there would be some kind of progress in race relations in the Marvel Universe.

And I swear, the Hero effect is a DC concept. Because seriousy, cities without a batman don't end up with a Joker or any other "bat-shit crazy" supervillian. And cities without a superman don't get attacked by aliens. Unless they're in Kansas. Kansas, for some reason is the world's dumping ground for trouble in the heartland.

Loved the thoughts comparing meta humans and those possessed. Very interesting and well though out.

Okay I pretty much just wanna hug Dean here. The Chlean flirting and snark is just spot-on (as per always), and I loved her explanation of things metahuman. And I still really like your Jo. ;) Can't wait for more and can't wait to see who's good with a camera :P Hehe.

That makes two of us. I always want to hug Dean.

I have a theory that Chloe has always had this thing for the hero type. I think that's partially why she's not been able to let go of Clark. Because just when she starts moving on, he does something to protect her or rescue her, and then she's back in the same boat.

And heres Dean suddenly self-appointing himself to protect her. Never mind that she's an independent type of person, suddenly without realizing it, he's filling that hero role. And without her understanding why, suddenly she feels like this hot guy that she'd basically written off as a man-ho is suddenly more interesting to her.

Of course, In her mind, he's still a former man-ho and possibly a walking STD, so she's going to resist that attraction as long as she can. Chloe thinks too much.

I'm glad folks are liking Jo. I'm going to have to figure out how to weave her through the story after they've left her in Memphis.

Who do you think would be good with a camera ;)
