Cute. As usual, of course.
I loved your description of Clark as a "beanpole" and the Heimlich *giggles* and of course the Chloe/Dean "What is your name" interaction. It... I was going to say that I got a little bit confused, but I think that was just because I hadn't read it properly and REALLY need caffeine. (I read it again to check. Hee)
And this fic has reminded me of the Sammy song again. *headdesK*

Dean isn't going to be very charitible about any guy that Chloe is with. Because most of them aren't him ;) Glad you liked it. This one was a hoot to write.

Yeah, I didn't think so. But (this could just be me) I can see him laughing at Clark if he wasn't with Chloe (and now that he is - wondering how the hell THAT happened) - Clark's a wonderful boy, but he's a little bit... *grins*
And don't get me started on Jimmy Olsen. Now THAT would be funny.

Clarksmuse has a story she wrote recently in which chloe is on assignment with Jimmy, and Dean assumes that they're togeather. Being Dean, he does a very Dean thing by passing her his telephone number, and informing her that she can do much better.

Thank you! I was actually thinking of the scene in Superman (the Margot Kidder/Christopher Reeves one) where Lois threw herself out a window to prove that Clark was Superman. He supersped down, blew open an awning, and she bounced off and landed on a stand of tomatoes. Meanwhile he supersped back, and leaned out the window to ask her: Lois, are you alright?

I loved the old superman movies. Clark acted so bumbling, but he was secretly so sly. ;)

Chloe is definitely the Hepburn to Dean's Tracy. At least, I was thinking partially of 40's era screwball comedies when I wrote this.

P.S. I noticed in several instances, that Yaris is mispelled, I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but I just thought I'd point it out that it's spelled Yaris--with one R---pay no mind to my pickyness, it's just that I'm a Toyota Yaris freak.

Um, Yeah. I misspelled it. Sad really, because as I type this, I'm looking out my window and down the road at a big yaris billboard.

I'm pretty sure that Chloe should've gotten a mini cooper instead of a Yaris. At least, if she was going to replace her bug.

Nothing personal against the Yaris, but I don't see it as a very Chloe car. So I have a bad tendency to abuse it in my fic (I've dropped a building on it, sucked it into an alternate demension, and in one fic, had a dinosaur step on it.)

But now that I know, I'll go back and fix that. (the spelling, not the dinosaur.)

Lol. To his or her own, I s'pose. Can't see her having a mini-cooper, mainly because she'll have to drive it around Metropolis, and that city is so hazardous, I wouldn't be surprised someone wanted to spray-paint that poor mini-cooper for the hell of it. With mid-season 5 to season 6, Chloe's all Daily Planet business (and as much as we want her off kicking some serious ass with the Winchesters) and she'll be trying to move her way up from the basement of the Daily Planet as soon as possible. [shrugs] Characters develop. She's the same ol' Chloe we know and love, just meta and with a Yaris that fanfic writers abuse in their fics.

=) I don't mind the Yaris abuse, and as much as I love it, it's just a car. I know she had a red bug in previous seasons, but she had a yellow car at the beginning of season 5...was it a bug as well?
