I had this idea last year, and shelved it for a while. I could just see Chance in the goggles and lab coat, getting confused with Dr. Horrible and led into the Evil League of Evil, snarking the whole way. "Dude! He's a horse!"

Kon in my universe is close to the annoying teen personality of the original Superboy of the comic books. I think Chance was initially nice to Kon because of Lena, and Kon kind of latched onto him and became that annoying best friend that you kind of want to smack most of the time.

Yep. As Kon is Chance's future-half-brother-in-law-by-way-of-cloning, he's stuck with him.
