My review for When the Levee Breaks is up

May 10, 2009 01:32

It's spoilerish, filled with speculation, short, and above all else, crack-filled.  And it's here.

firefox news, supernatural

This was TOO hard to watch, much like my parents own divorce. I didn't want them splitting up anymore than I want Dean and Sam to!

Cute review!

Love, Robin

I enjoyed the non-traditional review. The analogy is spot on. I really hated seeing the boys at odds. But I like your first prediction for the faniale - Satan running a piano bar is too funny. Just on question - Will us Dean girls have visitation with Sam and his girls? [g]

Thanks. I was a little bit hesitant to try the non-trad review. That hasn't historically been recieved well.

I didn't leave a lot of room for comments/discussion. Typically the comments either debate a plot point that I brought up, or tell me how I need to either watch the show again because I missed something/got it wrong, or I just sux in general. XD

People need to get over that.

What I see and what you see are going to be differnt - we have differnt experinces, diffenrt backgrounds and what not.

To use the addiction thing as an example - it dosn't ring true to me (becasue of my background and experince) but it does to a lot of people (again because their experince is differnt) it dons't make either of us right or wrong.

I'm working my way up to a post about how our backrounds effect our reaction to the show *shrug*

I agree with you there. Our backgrounds and experiences will color everything we do. I think quite a few of the fans (myself included) haven't had first hand experience with addiction or detox. So the plotline rings truer because it fits with what we've heard about. Whereas someone who knows something about the whole thing can call foul.
