This scene was really necessicary, because honestly, without both Chloe and Dean making some major shifts in their thinking and coming up with some important realizations, There wouldn't be much of a story to go forward with.

Sorry it took so long to respond to this. I have been swamped and reading this was one of my only treats yesterday.
First, I love Chloe and the weapon collection. (Your mention of the escrima sticks was great. Details like that suck me right in).

It's pretty important to me that Chloe, Dean and Sam in this fic are different than they were in special projects. For one, they're all younger and less experienced. And their journies are all different.

Showing that is important to me. It makes them so much more than OOC with names that happen to have the same names as our crew.
