I love this, and all the more so because you used one of my all time favorite books. I picture CHloe holding my battered seventh grade copy and all my adoration of Athos and horrified admiration of Milady comes rushing back.

I've got a copy that I really should be returning to a friend. It's one of the older ones with everything, not just the good parts. And it keeps me on the edge of my seat every time I read it.

I have an aversion to abridged copies of DUmas, so my Three Musketeers is complete. Unfortunately I cannot find a completely unabridged version of Count of Monte Cristo, so my copy is the least abridged I could get my hands on.

It's tough to be a purist when the publishing houses seem determined to cram our noses into the most dumbed down version.

Seriously, all the angsty-angst, they are totally due schmoop and I, like many other deangirls, feverently believe with the right girl, the shmoop is strong in that one.

I think it's nice to see Dean a little less Metal and little more easy-listening.

Not that Jack Johnson is easy listening, much...

LOL! Chloe's not much of an easy listening type. Dean wouldn't really be listening to it, but he's lying in bed with his hot wife. The man is not stupid enough to be criticizing her tastes in music at a time like this.

dean actually reminds me of a s'more. there's the hard, usually broken cracker outside. Then there's the thick, hard to chew but still amazing taste of chocolate until, after all that work, you get to the warm, gooey, yummy center that makes all the difficulty worth it. lol. now i'm hungry.

I was thinking more like French Bread with that hard, crusty exterior. But I think your analogy works better.

Hmmmm . . . chocolate!

EEE JACK!!! Excellent song picks too. :D

Dean does have a soft center, so a little schoompy works for him.

Glad you're liking this.

I kind of thought of Dean when I heard this song. Not because it's a dean song, but because I could see him trying to invent ways to keep Chloe in bed and sleeping in with him.
