So I probably shouldn't mention how many more I just got, right?
I am ignoring them (in a good way) until I get home as I have a bunch of deadlines raining down on me as well. Thankfully, two people volunteered to look over the whole list for us once its done so *phew*!
I do think having them ready to go by Wednesday is a long shot now, though.
Hey, you guys, I can help too but just not this week (work is nuts) with the organizing of the prompts. After this week, I'm freeing up a lot and can help with anything else for the ficathon that comes up in the future. Just let me know, I'm happy to lend a hand :)
Thanks! I think this week looks like the big crunch week, and after that there should be (I hope!) remarkably little to do. But we've had some volunteers to look over the prompt post to make sure we haven't screwed anything up too badly, and that was the main thing we needed. :D
Lots and lots more?!?!? I feared that might be the result of the "you have one more day to prompt" announcement. I haven't had to courage to go over there to check!
And I do think people will understand if we don't have them up on Wednesday. Or Thursday. Or Friday. :)
The whole thing!?! Wow! That's some television stamina you've got there!
I wish I'd had time to rewatch, but I'll be doing very well indeed just to watch, period, right now, so... Let's hope my memory kicks in or that the previouslies are adequate.
YAY!!!! I'm so fearful that this show will hit the sophomore slump that so many recent shows with great first seasons have. But hopefully not!
Hmm, I would say yes DCU=DC Comics. But I haven't read them in twent*cough cough* years, so don't go by me.
I'm guessing the series is kind of roughly giving a chronology (like how some of the SG-1 ones list Ripple Effect Janet.) So however you're handling those?
I think that even if they're not technically the same, they will have to be for the purposes of our ficathon because I've been lumping them together and it would be a lot more work to separate them out again.
It's funny how confusing it can get when you haven't the foggiest how these fandoms even work. Most of the television ones are clear enough, even if we don't know the source material, but things like comics and RPF that are actually sort of structured differently are proving to be very confusing! I think we'll just do our best and then slap a disclaimer on there and hope no one minds too much!
Thanks for the cheerleading! This is all going to be so awesome!!! Especially once we can get the prompts out and sit back and enjoy the rest of the ride!
Short answer: DCU and DC Comics are pretty much the same. I would say group them together. It is crossovery in that it can cover any series written under the DC logo
( ... )
Oh good!!! That's sort of what I've been doing, and if someone said it was imperative it all be separate, I'd have to go back and change it, and I might just cry! Everything's going under DCU. The end. And thank you!!!
