It's entirely typical that several people linked me Bob Darnton's recent article in the NY Review of Books on "The Library in the New Age" in a professional capacity, and I hadn't gotten around to reading it yet; then as soon as someone linked it on LJ (thanks, cofax7), I read it right away. I actually turned on the View today to watch her and she is just awesome. Way, way awesome.

Have a good time in Denver and when you return, my life will be calm again and we can move possibly move forward with our ficathon little project.

I actually have "ficathon stuff" on my to do list, but my life hasn't been much more calm than yours this past week or two, so obviously it's among the things not yet crossed off. But yes, we'll get to it soon, and I don't think there's any particular time frame we need to be working with: if we decide to move the deadline to September or something, that's certainly not the end of the world. Whatever! We'll talk about it next week. :)
