And Kentucky has a new coach, named Billy. Gillispie, not Donovan. I don't know much about Billy Gillispie, other than the impressive success of Texas A&M under his tenure. So I'm reserving judgment, but also remaining hopeful. From what I read, I suspect he may not be the all-around decent guy that Tubby is, but I also suspect he'll win us more

It looks like winter isn't done with Halifax yet. We are to get 15 - 30 cm of snow this weekend.

I love that kind of tragic story. Looking forward to reading it.

As for happy, how about writing some Sam/Cam? They really have my interest lately.

15-30 cm!!!! Meep!!! Fortunately (*knocks on wood*), we haven't yet gotten nor are not supposed to get any accumulation. Just cold, wind, and the occasional flurries flying around. The bulbs that were trying to come up in my front yard are looking all wilted and sad. :(

I was disappointed about Donovan, but I can't blame him. I admire his loyalty. I also don't know anything about Gillispe, but I'm optimistic. Of course, everyone is optimistic before a new season, we're undefeated! I did like this line from Kentucky.com:

He doesn't act like someone who's gotten above his raising.
